Reservations

Shelters located at Longview Lake, Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo are available for use May 1 - September 30. Reservations are accepted beginning January 2 for shelter use during the calendar year.

Reservations may be made in person, online, or by phone at 816-503-4805. Payments will be accepted by check or by MasterCard, Visa or Novus/Discover at the time of reservation. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis each year. The person making the reservation must be at least 21 years of age.

All shelter use is by reservation only. Online reservations can be made at least four days in advance. Reservations may be cancelled within 10 days. A $10 service charge will be applied on all shelter house refunds or transfers.

Applicable permits are required for the use of tents, inflatables, or any other outside equipment. Call 816-503-4805 for more information on any permit requirements for your reservations.

Administration Hours

Winter:    October 1 - March 31; 8:00 am - 5 pm, Monday thru Friday
Summer:  April 1-September 30; 8:00 am - 5 pm, 7 Days a Week
