Jackson County Parks + Rec reaches a vast audience with more 1.4 million visitors each year.  From boating and fishing, to our acclaimed Historic Sites and nationally recognized events like Christmas in the Park, we have something for everyone. Of course, we could not do what we do without you! We count on partners like you to make this beautiful travel destination the third largest park system in the nation.
Event sponsorship opportunities include:

Holiday Events

  • Christmas In The Park

Open nightly, Thanksgiving Eve thru New Year's Eve, since 1988.
Welcoming more than 200,000 guests each year, this magical drive-thru display offers over 500,000 lights and 175 animated displays.  Admission is free.  Voluntary exit donations benefit more than 30 local charities.

  • Christmas In The Sky

Since 1997, Christmas In The Sky has served as Jackson County's official kick-off to the holidays, heralding the opening of Christmas In The Park for the season.  The event is held the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving and features a holiday stage show and a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to your favorite holiday music.

  • Trip The Light Fantastic: Bike Ride thru Christmas In The Park 

This free event attracts more than 2,000 cyclists annually and gives bicyclists an opportunity to get the first peak at Christmas In The Park.  Cyclists are encouraged to light their bikes and dress in holiday attire. Prizes are awarded.

Historic Sites & Events

Sponsorships begin at $100 and include exhibits, performers, interpretive activities, and events.

Your donation can be used to underwrite education symposiums, speakers, exhibitions, acquisitions of interpretive material, scholars in residence, and more.

  • Dogtober Fest

This hugely popular event is held annually lon the third Sunday in October.  Sponsorships start at $100. Sponsors receive proportional recognition in program, announcements during event, and event signage, online credit in event web page.
