About Cave Spring Park

Also known as "William Klein Park," this 36-acre nature park is managed in partnership with The Cave Springs Association, Inc.

On a visit to Cave Spring, you will find an interpretive center with changing exhibits, picnic area, hiking trails, wildlife pond habitat, butterfly garden and small cave. Guided hikes and educational programs are available for school field trips and organized groups.

Cave Spring is one of the most unique hikes in the KC area, that nature and walking enthusiast need to experience: The 4.5 mile trail has so much to offer, circling dirt and paved paths, a small cave, waterfall/spring and stone chimneys scattered about the trail.

Cave Springs is a National Historic Landmark as part of a stop along the Santa Fe, Oregon & California Trail.
