Trip the Light Fantastic Bike Ride

Light up your bike, put on your helmet, and join us for a magical holiday experience!  

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind 4.5-mile bike ride through more than one million lights and hundreds of illuminated displays at Jackson County's Christmas in the Park. After parking and unloading your bikes at Longview Community Center or MCC Longview Community College, go to the ramp off the Community Center Parking Lot to enter the course. Your ride will begin at the Frank White, Jr. Sports Complex, where you will continue along County Park Road through Christmas in the Park. Be sure to stop by the Bike Shack tent located in the Sports Complex Parking Lot for a photo with Santa before starting your ride! 

LIGHTS & HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS NIGHT RIDE!!  For the safety of all, those without lights and helmets will not be permitted on the course.  The road is dark and hilly in places.  Parental discretion is advised for children under the age of 10. Ride at your own risk.  

 RIDE DETAILS
 The Course is open from 5:30 until 7:00 pm.

 Seasoned Cyclists: Arrive between 5:30 and 6 pm
 Families: Arrive after 6 pm

One trip per person.

 

 Permitted Bikes:  
 Participants must ride a 2- or 3-wheeled bicycle.
 Class 1 or Class 3 type E-Bikes are also allowed. 

 Not Permitted:  
 Throttled Bicycles | Motorized or Electric Scooters
 Hover Boards | Tricycles or Training Wheels
