Basic Sewing Workshop

Next date: Saturday, June 15, 2024 | 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM

This workshop will take you through the basics of hand sewing from garment mending to creation.  You will even get to make and take home your own creation using a mid- 1800s pattern!  Living history interpreters will tell you how mid-1800s men, women, and children sewed for necessity and fun. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. 

Tickets will be available in the visitors center and online starting May 1st.
