Basic Sewing

Our Living History Interpreters will teach you the basic stitches of hand sewing. These basic stitches can be used for mending garments, as well as making your own creations. You will make your own creation using an 1800s pattern that you will be able to take home with you. Learn how mid-1800s men, women, and children sewed for necessity and fun. $25 per person. Registration is limited to 10 people.
