Christmas In The Park

Your holidays aren't complete unless you take a journey through Christmas In The Park, one of the Greater Kansas City region's most beloved Yuletide attractions. Featuring more than 300,000 lights and 175 animated displays, this winter wonderland will bring out the child in kids of all ages.

And admission is FREE! Donations benefiting 39 area charities are accepted. Since the first Christmas In The Park back in 1987, Jackson County has raised more than $1 million for charities through this event.

"Christmas In The Park is the county's gift to the community," County Executive Frank White, Jr. says, "and through their donations visitors in the Christmas In The Park are giving back to the community."
